A contemporary art exhibition by a Malaysian artist, Ken Yang was launched by H.E. Tan Sri Abdul Aziz Zainal, Ambassador of Malaysia to France at the Gallery Menouar in Paris on Thursday, September 15, 2011.
The exhibition simply entitled ‘Ken Yang’ showcases contemporary art paintings and also the artist talent as a portrait painter. Ken Yang who graduated from the Malaysian Institute of Arts (MIA) now lives and works in Paris had exhibited his works in this City of Lights since 2003.
Ken Yang’ paintings have won numerous awards including the 32nd Painters Fair at Maison Lafitte in 2007; a gold award at the ComGraph Asia Pacific Digital Art Competition in 2002 and First Prize at the Glamour Photography competition in 1998.
The exhibition, which receives support from the Malaysian Embassy, Tourism Malaysia and Malaysia Airlines in Paris, will be held at the Gallery Menouar, located at the posh 3rd district of Paris from September 16 to October 20. The exhibition indeed displays some of Ken Yang’s artistic inspiration.
