Stéphane Lévy, 35, lives in Cernay, is one of the winners of the contest "Win a trip to Malaysia" with the text he wrote. He won a trip that will allow him to discover the wonders of wildlife and tropical flora Malaysia. The award was presented by Tan Sri Dr Yusof Basiron, the CEO of the Malaysian Palm Oil Council (MPOC), at a gala evening in Paris. The competition was organized to promote palm oil in France.
Participants were asked to write a text answering the question "Why palm oil is important in France? "The judges were impressed by the creativity, style and the wealth of information contained in the contribution of Stéphane Lévy.
The Cernéen thus won a trip for two people in Malaysia: a seven-day trip, which includes an exploration of the rainforest meets its most famous inhabitants, orangutans, and a tour of smallholder farms premises.
"I am very happy to have won and look forward to visit Malaysia, its rainforest. Upon my return, I hope to share my experience with my friends, "said Stephen Levy.

Stéphane Lévy, 35 ans, domicilié à Cernay, est l’un des grands gagnants du jeu concours « Gagnez un voyage en Malaisie » grâce au texte qu’il a rédigé. Il remporte un voyage qui va lui permettre de découvrir les merveilles de la faune et de la flore tropicales malaisiennes. Le prix a été décerné par Tan Sri Dr Yusof Basiron, le p-d.g. du Malaysian palm oil council (MPOC), le Conseil malaisien pour l’huile de palme lors d’une soirée de gala à Paris. Le jeu concours a été organisé pour promouvoir l’huile de palme en France.
Les participants devaient rédiger un texte répondant à la question « Pourquoi l’huile de palme est-elle importante en France ? » Les juges se sont dit impressionnés par la créativité, le style et la richesse des informations contenues dans la contribution de Stéphane Lévy.
Le Cernéen remporte donc un séjour pour deux personnes en Malaisie : un voyage de sept jours qui comprend une exploration de la forêt tropicale, la rencontre de ses habitants les plus célèbres, les orangs-outangs, ainsi qu’une visite des exploitations des petits agriculteurs locaux.
« Je suis très heureux d’avoir gagné et impatient de visiter la Malaisie, sa forêt tropicale. À mon retour, j’espère pouvoir partager mon expérience avec mes amis » , a déclaré Stéphane Lévy.
Stephane Levy was featured in L’Alsace, his regional paper in Eastern France on the border with Germany. The paper has a daily readership of 350,000 and in a region of about 2 million people.
