H.E DATO’ MOHD ZAMRUNI KHALID VISITS SOPHIA ANTIPOLIS TECHNOLOGY PARK

H.E. Dato’ Mohd. Zamruni Khalid, Malaysian Ambassador to France visited the Sophia Antipolis Technology Park in Nice, France accompanied by Mr. Abdullah Ma’amor Ibrahim, Minister Counsellor at Embassy of Malaysia Paris and Mr. Pravinganesha Rajoo, Investment Attaché at Malaysian Investment and Development Authority in Paris. The Malaysian delegation held a meeting with Mr. Philippe Mariani, CEO of Sophia Antipolis Technology Park, Mr. Vincent David, President of Sophia Engineering, and Mr.Laurent Escarrat, Chief Technology Officer at Sophia Engineering together with his team of engineers to explore and discuss potential collaboration in science, technology and innovation. Among other topic of discussions during the meeting were R&D in the 4IR related sectors such as Internet of Things (IOT), artificial intelligence, biotechnology and autonomous and connected vehicles. The meeting was also joined by Malaysia’s Sophia Engineering team via video conferencing.
