The Malaysian Students Association in France (MASAF) Graduation Ceremony 2014 was held at the Parisian Bateau Mouche boat cruise on Saturday, 14 June 2014.
The event, graced by Malaysian Ambassador to France, His Excellency Tan Sri Ismail Omar, was also attended by wife Puan Sri Suriati Md Sobri; Encik Zamshari Shaharan, Deputy Chief of Mission; Encik Mohd. Shahir Shaari, Education Counsellor of the Malaysian Embassy; representatives from Campus France and education consultant agency SFERE as well as some parents of the Malaysian students.
The highlight of the event was the giving away of the end-of-studies certificate by His Excellency Ambassador Tan Sri Ismail Omar to 80 students who had successfully completed their studies in France. The students and guests were then treated to a luncheon while enjoying Paris prominent sights and monuments on the famous boat cruise along the Seine river.
There are currently 624 Malaysian students in France taking undergraduate and graduate courses in various fields including French language, engineering and fashion design.
