More than 50 Malaysians in Paris together with their families and local friends attended a luncheon on Saturday, 25 November 2014 to celebrate Diwali, the festival of lights. The Diwali event, hosted by the Malaysian Association in France (MAF) was held at the New Jawad restaurant in Paris.
The event graced by the Malaysian Ambassador to France, H.E. Tan Sri Ismail Omar and also attended by the staff of the Embassy and Malaysian agencies as well as Malaysian students in Paris.
The Diwali celebration was one of the most awaited festive celebrations organised by the MAF. It was indeed a big “family event’ bringing Malaysians together!.
