More than 120 Malaysians together with their families braved the cold autumn weather in Paris on Tuesday, 15 October 2013 to celebrate Hari Raya Aidiladha. The chilly weather did not prevent the ladies from coming in their elegant baju kurung while the men were in colorful baju melayu and batik shirts attended the event held at the multi-purpose hall of the Embassy of Malaysia in Paris.
The reception was graced by the Malaysian Ambassador designated to France, HE Tan Sri Ismail Omar and wife, Puan Sri Suryati Mohd Sobri. After Hari Raya prayers, guests were feted to a sumptuous Hari Raya buffet of nasi biryani, nasi himpit, rendang, lodeh as well as Hari Raya biscuits and sweets.
