A reception to celebrate Malaysia’s 54th Independence Day and the 78th Malaysian Armed Forces Day was hosted by H.E Tan Sri Abdul Aziz Zainal, Ambassador of Malaysia to France and Captain Ismail Abdullah, Defence Attaché of the Malaysian Embassy in France at the Rumah Malaysia on Friday, 23 September 2011.
More than 200 guests attended the function, among whom were members of the diplomatic corps, Defence Attachés of various embassies, senior officials of the Quai D’Orsay, the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs; French Defence Ministry; other Ministries; representatives of international and regional organizations as well as captains of French business and industry.
