THE CONCERT OF FRANCE-MALAYSIAN FRIENDSHIP - 30 JUNE 2015

Malaysia’s renowned Paris-based pianist, Muzaffar Abdullah enthralled the one thousand guests and audience who attended the “Concert of France-Malaysian Friendship” soirée held at the UNESCO House on 30 June 2015.

 

The concert, a rendition of classical piano works by Johann Sebastian Bach, Concerto for piano and string orchestra in D minor as well as other pieces by Muzaffar Abdullah, with the participation of the Maurice Baquet conservatory string orchestra of Noisy le-Grand was co-hosted by H.E Tan Sri Ismail Omar, Ambassador of Malaysia to France and YBhg. Dato Mohd Zulkifli Mohammed, Permanent Delegate of Malaysia to UNESCO.

 

Pianist Muzaffar Abdullah started his career as a concert pianist in Europe after graduating with honors in piano performance and chamber of music from the prestigious Ecole Normale de Musique Alfred Cortrot and the European Conservatory of Paris. Throughout his career, the Malaysian pianist has performed in France, Italy, Spain, Switzerland, Finland, Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic and the United States.
