The GlobalCCU Awards Ceremony 2017 was held on Wednesday, 5 April 2017 at the l’Hotel de l’Industrie, Place Saint Germain des Prés in Paris, France. The awards ceremony is organized by GlobalCCU and its partners every two years and this year it has rewarded 18 diverse and impressive Corporate Universities that have performed at the highest level of excellence and have created value for People, Business and Society. For the first time, the contest honoured two individuals for services to the learning industry.
The awards ceremony was co-chaired by Ms. Annick Renaud-Coulon, Chairperson of GlobalCCU with the representatives of the previous Best Overall Corporate University Gold award winners: UniBB from Brazil and Defence Acquisition University from the USA and special guests, Mr. Gavin Watson, CEO of the Bosasa Group in South Africa and with Mr. Christian Blanc, the former CEO of Air France.
The Embassy of Malaysia in Paris would like to congratulate Petronas Leadership Centre (PLC) which won the Bronze Award for the category on Business Impact at this year’s awards ceremony. This is a new category introduced for the 2017 GlobalCCU Awards which PLC decided to compete in. This is not the first time PLC has won a GlobalCCU Award. In March 2013, PLC won the Gold Award for the category on Culture and Brand. This time round, PLS was represented by Mr. Ramli Atan, Head of Innovative Leadership, Innovative Leadership Solutions (ILS) and Mr. Khairul Faizi Abdul Karim, Manager of Innovative Leadership, ILS.
