YAB Datuk Patinggi Abang Haji Abdul Rahman Zohari bin Tun Datuk Abang Haji Openg, Chief Minister of Sarawak (YAB CM), began his official visit to Europe on 24 September 2017.
Before arriving in Paris on 30 September 2017, programmes had been arranged for YAB CM in Helsinki, Tallinn, Salzgitter, Mainz, and Frankfurt. YAB CM and delegation were in Paris to explore available opportunities of making transportation more environmentally sustainable such as the possibility of adopting hydrogen vehicles.
In conjunction with the Paris leg of the official visit of YAB CM, HE Datuk Ibrahim Abdullah, Ambassador of Malaysia to France, hosted a dinner in honour of the former at Rumah Malaysia on 1 October 2017. YAB CM left Paris on 2 October 2017.
