On 29 March 2021, H.E. Ambassador Dato' Dr. Azfar Mohamad Mustafar paid a courtesy call to the Rector of Paris Grand Mosque, Mr. Chems-eddine Mohamed Hafiz to discuss issues of mutual interest, particularly on halal certification and deradicalisation initiatives.
The Embassy also took the opportunity to donate high-quality 4-ply and 3-ply surgical masks by Notion Venture Sdn Bhd in support of the mosque's effort in eradicating COVID-19 in France.
