(Visite de travail de l’Honorable Dato Sri Peter Chin Fah Kui, Ministre de l’Energie, des Technologies vertes et de l’Eau 12- 17 novembre 2012)
The Minister of Energy, Green Technology and Water, the Hon. Dato Sri Peter Chin Fah Kui was in France from 12 to 17 November 2012 to attend the International Energy Forum Ministerial Meeting on Gas held in Paris on 16 November 2012. The Hon. Minister was one of the panelists of a roundtable together with his counterparts from Qatar, Morocco and Japan.
The Hon. Dato Sri Peter Chin Fah Kui who was accompanied by his wife YBhg. Datin Sri Ruby Wee Hui Kiang; Dato Badaruddin Mahyuddin, Deputy Secretary General (Energy) Ministry of Energy, Green Technology and Water and Dato Wira Ir Azman Mohd, Chief Executive Officer of Tenaga Nasional Berhad, were received upon arrival at Charles de Gaulle airport by H.E. Tan Sri Abdul Aziz Zainal, Ambassador of Malaysia to France and wife YBhg Puan Sri Dato’ Rositah Md Mawi.
While in France, the Hon. Minister also visited Alstom, world-renowned French conglomerate in high speed transport infrastructure, power generation and electrical grid. The Hon. Minister and delegation were given a presentation on Alstom’s Smart Grid.
The Hon. Minister went to Nice to visit the IBM Innovation Center at La Gaude on Thursday 15 November 2012. This visit has enabled the delegation to gather some insights on consumer energy management and control.
The Hon. Minister and delegation left Paris on Saturday, 17 November 2012.

Ministre de l’Energie, des Technologies vertes et de l’Eau
12- 17 novembre 2012
Le Ministre de l’Energie, des Technologies vertes et de l’Eau, l’Honorable Dato Sri Peter Chin Fah Kui, était en visite en France du 12 au 17 novembre 2012 pour participer au Forum international ministériel sur le gaz organisé par l’Union Internationale du Gaz (IGU) à Paris le 16 novembre 2012. L’Honorable Ministre était l’un des intervenants de la table ronde, aux côtés de ses homologues du Qatar, du Maroc et du Japon.
2. L’Honorable Dato Sri Peter Chin Fah Kui était accompagné de son épouse, YBhg. Datin Sri Ruby Wee Hui Kiang, de Dato Badaruddin Mahyuddin, le secrétaire-général adjoint (energie) du ministère de l’Energie, des Technologies vertes et de l’Eau, et de Dato Wira Ir Azman Mohd, le président directeur-général de Tenaga Nasional Berhad, qui ont été reçus à leur arrivée à l’aéroport Charles de Gaulle par S.E. Tan Sri Abdul Aziz Zainal, l’Ambassadeur de Malaisie en France et son épouse, YBhg Puan Sri Dato’ Rositah Md Mawi.
3. Pendant sa visite, l’Honorable Ministre a eu l’opportunité de visiter Alstom, le groupe français mondialement connu pour ses trains à grande vitesse, sa production d’électricité et ses réseaux électriques. L’Honorable Ministre et sa délégation ont pu ainsi découvrir le Smart Grid d’Alstom.
4. L’Honorable Ministre s’est également rendu à Nice pour visiter l’IBM Innovation Center, situé à La Gaude, le jeudi 15 novembre 2012. Cette visite a permis à la délégation de réunir des informations sur la gestion et le contrôle de la consommation énergétique des consommateurs.
5. L’Honorable Ministre et sa délégation ont quitté Paris le samedi 17 novembre 2012.
