In conjunction with the Merdeka Celebration and Merdeka Carnival 2011, the Malaysian High Commission in London will organise Merdeka Golf Tournament at Hatfield Golf Club on 15 October 2011.
The tournment has been made an annual event as part of Merdeka celebration among the Malaysia Community in the UK. It is expected that 72 participants will take part in the tournament, of which the overall winner will be awarded with Tan Sri Shahrom Cup and various accompanying prizes.
The High Commissioner, HE Datuk Zakaria Sulong is the Advisor of the tournament while Wan Zaidi Wan Abdullah chairs the organizing committee of the event.
