On 8 July 2025, Chargé d’Affairs a.i had the privilege to welcome Elhadj Mamadou Saliou Camara, Grand Imam of the Republic of Guinea at the Embassy. The meeting was a significant step towards promoting peaceful coexistence, interfaith dialogue and future collaboration between the Embassy and the Supreme Muslim Council of Guinea (SMCG) which he presides. A copy of the Holy Quran (Malay Version) was also handed over as a memento for his library.
