H.E. Hendy Anak Assan, Ambassador of Malaysia to the Holy See received a courtesy call by Mr. Nazzareno Vassallo, the Honorary Consul of Malaysia to the Republic of Malta.
Various topics were addressed during the meeting, including updates on political and economic developments in Malta. The Ambassador and the Honorary Consul also engaged in discussions regarding potential avenues for enhancing bilateral relations between Malaysia and the Republic of Malta, particularly focusing on areas such as education and Islamic banking.
H.E. Hendy also expressed gratitude to the Honorary Consul for the support provided to a delegation from the Ministry of Higher Education Malaysia, led by Minister YBhg. Dato’ Seri Diraja Dr. Zambry Abdul Kadir, during their participation in the 9th ASEM Education Ministers’ Meeting held in Valetta on 25 - 26 January 2024.
