The Malaysia - Singapore priests, nuns and seminarians gathering was held on 26 May 2018 at Collegio San Bernardo in Rome, Italy. To-date, there were approximately 20 Malaysian priests, nuns, seminarian and lay communities residing in Rome and Vatican City. The gathering started with a mass celebrated at the Chapel of Saint Bernardo followed by a lunch reception hosted by His Excellency Tan Sri Bernard Giluk Dompok at his residence.
His Excellency Tan Sri Bernard welcomed new priests and seminarians to Rome. Ambassador Dompok also took the opportunity to update the priests, nuns, seminarians and lay communities on the various initiatives undertaken by the Embassy of Malaysia to The Holy See. This is part of the Embassy's effort under Program Mendampingi Rakyat Malaysia in reaching out and engaging Malaysians residing in Rome and Vatican City.
