Ms. Clara Soon May Lynn, Charge d'Affaires a.i. of Malaysia to The Holy See presented New Year greetings to His Holiness Pope Francis on 07 January 2019 at the Apostolic Palace, Vatican City. The event was organised by the Vatican, gathering diplomats accredited to The Holy See for an exchange of New Year wishes with the Pope and Prelates of The Holy See.
During the event, Pope Francis delivered the Vatican's New Year message for 2019 covering various issues such as promoting peace and justice, peaceful coexistance, socio-economic development, current regional and international issues, multilateral issues as well as promoting religious freedom.
