The Asian Ambassadors to The Holy See co-organised a seminar on "Inter-religious Dialogue : Perspectives from Asia" at the Pontifical University of Urbaniana in Rome on 18 June 2019. The seminar, which takes the Document on Human Fraternity for World Peace and Living Together (Abu Dhabi Declaration) signed by His Holiness Pope Francis and His Eminence the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayyed on 04 February 2019 in Abu Dhabi, UAE, offered interesting views and perspectives from Asia in efforts to promote mutual understanding and tolerance among religions.
Following the seminar, there was an Asian Food and gastronomy exposition where participants and invitees to the seminar enjoyed Nasi Lemak and onde-onde, among other delicacies from the participating Asian embassies.
