The Honourable Datuk Dr. Haji Abdul Latiff Ahmad, Deputy Minister of Health Malaysia is making a working visit to the Republic of Croatia from 29 January to 4 February 2009. He will be accompanied by a 10-member delegation comprising senior Ministry of Health officials and a business delegation.
The objective of the visit is to explore and develop cooperation in the field of medicine and pharmaceutical industry. The visit is expected to foster and strengthen bilateral ties between Malaysia and the Republic of Croatia.
The programme of the visit includes a courtesy call on the State Secretary for Health, visit to a government hospital, meeting with pharmaceutical company Belupo d.d. in the town of Koprivnica and the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the Institute of Immunology, Zagreb and Duopharma, Malaysia witnessed by the Deputy Minister of Health.
