The Embassy of Malaysia participated in the Family Fun Walk to commemorate the Centenary of Nelson Mandela on 8 September 2018. The Fun Walk, organised by the Embassy of South Africa in Budapest, was held in the recreational island of Margitsziget located right in the heart of the capital city.
The Deputy Mayor of Budapest, Dr. Alexandra Szalay-Bobrovniczky was the Guest of Honour for the event. Also invited to this event were members of the Diplomatic Corps and the local media. After the walk, participants were treated to a screening of a short documentary on the life of Nelson Mandela, followed by dance performances.
