Capturing a snapshot of the Deepavali Open House in Chennai
The Consulate General of Malaysia in Chennai hosted the Deepavali open house in Rumah Malaysia on 25 November 2023.
The open house reception during festive seasons embodies the Malaysian way of celebrating festivals in our multi-racial community.
Around 160 guests were present, among them members of the diplomatic corps, members of international organisations, business communities, fellow Malaysians residing in Chennai, representatives from government agencies and local leaders.
A variety of Malaysian cuisines and Indian food were served. The event gives everyone an opportunity to interact and network.
