On 3 May 2014 at Isha Life Fitness Centre, Chennai Turns Pink and the Rotary Club of Chennai Galaxy honoured members of PERWAKILAN who were appointed as “Pink Ambassador’s”. Chennai Turns Pink is a non-profit organization dedicated towards breast cancer awareness. The organization advocates early detection of breast cancer and free treatment for the poor.
The “Pink Ambassador” appointment by Chennai Turns Pink is to facilitate public awareness regarding cancer prevention.
The program was also graced by the Honorable Datin Seri Kanagam Ramanujam, Spouse of the Minister of Natural Resources and Environment of Malaysia.
