Courtesy Call by Mr Young Seup Kwon, Consul General of the Republic of Korea at the Consulate. Mr. Young previous postings includes Brazil, Thailand and also Finland. Malaysia and the Republic of Korea established diplomatic relations in 1960.
The Republic of Korea is one of the first countries in East Asia where Malaysia had set up an Embassy. Within the 56 years of diplomatic relations, both countries have continued to strengthen bilateral ties in various fields of cooperation.
