The Consul General hosted an Open House on Sunday, 2 September, 2012 on the occasion of Eid celebration this year.
The function was held at the Consul General’s residence in Chennai in the afternoon from 4 pm until 7 pm. Among those who attended the function were Malaysian HBS and their families, Malaysian professionals working in Chennai, students who are studying in various local universities in Chennai as well as selected local dignitaries.
All guests were served with Malaysian traditional dishes which included Ketupat, Lemang, Rendang Ayam, Briyani Mutton, Roti Jala, Mee Hoon Goreng and varieties of Malaysian sweets, cakes and biscuits which reflected the ‘Hari Raya Aidil Fitri’ festive mood.
