On 13th May 2023 – Consulate General of Malaysia organised the Hari Raya Aidilfitri reception to celebrate the joyful festival. Aidilfitri @ Eid Mubarak is considered one of the important celebrations for Muslims in Malaysia. Nevertheless, people from different cultures and religions also enjoy the celebration with a variety of Malaysian cuisines.
Around 250 guests were present, among them members of the diplomatic corps, International Organizations, business communities, fellow Malaysians residing in Chennai, Malaysians who are visiting Chennai for work purposes and representatives from the local agencies and local leaders.
