WORKSHOP ON LABOUR LAW, SECURITY, IMMIGRATION AND
CONSULAR PROCEDURES IN SOUTH INDIA HELD AT
HOTEL PARK HYATT, CHENNAI ON SATURDAY 18 MAY, 2013
The Consulate General of Malaysia for South India in Chennai organized a workshop on Labour law, Security, Immigration and Consular Procedures in India on Saturday 18 May, 2013 from 8.00 a.m. till 6.00 p.m. at Hotel Park Hyatt, Velachery Road, Chennai. The workshop was attended by all the Home Based Staff from all the agencies and the Locally Recruited Staff of all agencies selectively. The Consulate General took this opportunity in designing a program that included briefing sessions relevant to all agencies based in Chennai. Subject matter specialists from four agencies directly relevant to the Consulate duties were invited to address the gathering. The representatives were from the Ministry of External Affairs – Branch Secretariat, Office of the Foreigners Regional Registration Office - Bureau of Immigration, Office of the Commissioner of Labour – Chennai and Office of the Commissioner of Police – Chennai Police.
