The Consul General on 24 June 2019, attended a press conference in conjunction of Malaysia Food Fair at Courtyard Marriott Chennai. During the Consul General’s interaction with members of the media, he briefed on the similarities between Malaysian and Indian cultures including their foods as Malaysia and India has a long standing relations, in particular South India. The event, which will last until 4th July 2019, features authentic Malaysian cuisine prepared by Chef Zainal Abidin who was flown all the way from Malaysia. The event is jointly organised by Consulate General Malaysia Chennai and Tourism Malaysia Chennai with the support of Malindo Air and Courtyard Marriott.
