On 26 April 2014, the 4th Annual General Meeting took place at the Rooftop of the Office of Consulate General of Malaysia, Chennai.
About 80 Malaysian students mostly from Saveetha Dental College and Hospital, Meenakshi Ammal Dental College and Sri Ramachandra Dental College had attended the AGM to select the new board of committee members for Session 2014/2015. All members were purely nominated and elected by students themselves.
In her address, Puan Annie Sabrina Lasumin, the Consul Education & Training urged all students to actively take part all the activities and programmes either organised by the Consulate or by the MSAI Chennai itself. She also emphasised the importance of participating the activities and programmes so that students would always feel united with other Malaysians and feel like at home in a foreign land.
