The Consul General Mdm. Chitra Devi Ramiah, was invited as a Chief Guest for the function organized by the Malaysian Students Association of India on 1st December, 2012. A speech was delivered to students by the Consul General on this occasion.
Around 250 students presently studying in Chennai especially from Meenaskshi Ammal Dental College, Sri Ramachandra Medical College and Saveetha Dental College was present during this occasion.
