NOTICE ON PROCESSING OF VISA APPLICATIONS W.E.F. 9 DECEMBER, 2013

1.        All the authorized travel agents/visa applicants are hereby informed that with effect from 09^th December 2013 (Monday) all visa applications will be accepted at the address mentioned below. Only agents authorized by the Consulate General of Malaysia for South India will be allowed to submit the application at the Malaysian Visa Application Centre (MVAC).

2.        Visa fee imposed remains as below and to be paid as the current procedure by a bank draft in favour of the Consulate General of Malaysia, Chennai.

            Indian Citizen:        Rs1000/-

            China Citizen :        Rs550/-

            Others            :         Rs400/-

3.        Service charge worth Rs2000/- per application to be paid to the MVAC operator. Payment is to be made in bank draft in favour of Smart Data Processing Services Pvt. Ltd. payable at Chennai.

4.        The visa processing duration remains unchanged i.e. four (4) working days. For instance if agents submit applications at MVAC on Monday subsequently the Consulate will issue the passports to MVAC on Thursday.
