9 March 2024 :- Mrs. Visalakshi Suparamaniam, the Perwakilan Chennai Chairperson and Mrs. Mai Sarah Elisa, Vice Consul of the Consulate General of Malaysia in Chennai attended the Passing out Parade ceremony at the Parameswaran Drill Square at the Officers Training Academy (OTA) Chennai.
This significant event, steeped in tradition and reverence, marked the culmination of months of rigorous training for the Officer cadets. A total of 220 Indian Officer cadets were commissioned at the Passing out Parade. Additionally, a few Officer cadets from foreign countries also successfully completed their training at OTA Chennai, fostering bonds and cooperation across international borders between those countries and India.
It was a proud moment for Malaysia to witness our army officer Cadet Izzah Hazirah binti Ramdzan from Kuala Lumpur complete her training at OTA Chennai. She is the first Malaysian officer to undergo such training at OTA Chennai.
The Consulate General of Malaysia in Chennai wishes Cadet Izzah Hazirah heartiest congratulations on this achievement and hopes her months of challenging training at OTA be a great experience for her to bring back to Malaysia and serve our beloved nation.
