26 May 2025 - Prime Minister, Dato' Seri Anwar bin Ibrahim, Chair of ASEAN 2025, chaired the Plenary Session of the 46th ASEAN Summit on 26 May 2025. During the session, the ASEAN Leaders discussed on the ASEAN Community building and ASEAN's external relations. Key focus of discussion, amongst others, strengthening regional integration, stimulating economic growth, enhancing connectivity and the progress of Timor-Leste's full membership in ASEAN. The Leaders also underscores efforts to reinforce ASEAN Centrality amid an increasingly complex geopolitical and geo-economic landscapes.
