The Consulate General of Malaysia in Chennai coordinate the participation of 20 captain of industries based in Tamil Nadu in the Roundtable Business Meeting hosted by Hon. Prof. Dr. P. Ramasamy, Deputy Chief of Minister II, Penang on the 20th December 2022. During the session, Prof. Dr. P. Ramasamy briefed the participants on the latest development in the Malaysian politics , economy and presented on Penang as a preferred investment destination within Malaysia for the Indian businessmen.
The participants had the opportunity to ask Hon. Deputy Chief Minister various questions related to investment opportunities, incentives offered by the state and some of their concerns with regards to investing in Penang.
Consulate General of Malaysia in Chennai will continue to engage with potential investors in Southern India to entice more foreign direct investments into Malaysia.
