The Consul General, Mr. Anuar Kasman attended the Seminar on India as a Superpower organised by Centre for Security Analysis (CSA) at Residency Towers on Friday, 27th February, 2009. The Seminar is a part of the CSA’s activities from time to time.
During the Seminar, Mr. Sivaraman, the Former Executive Director, International Monetary Fund as a main speaker presented a paper on India as superpower. Mr. Sivaraman, elaborated the potential of India becoming a superpower in the near future. He stressed that to achieve the status, India has a long way to go before she could claim as superpower due to political situation and currently India need to emphasize on economy and development as priority agenda in the Country.
