THE CONSUL GENERAL PAID A COURTESY CALL ON DIRECTOR GENERAL OF POLICE, STATE OF TAMIL NADU.

The Consul General, Mr. Anuar Kasman paid a coutesy call on Mr. K.P. Jain, Director General of Police, State of Tamil Nadu.  The call took place on Monday, 30^th March, 2009 at D.G.’s Office in Mylapore Police Headquarters.

During the call, the Consul General and Director General of Police exchanged some information about the security matters in the State of Tamil Nadu.  Also, the Consul General highlighted the problems in obtaining the Exit permit for three (3) Malaysian Nationals who were released from the Coimbatore prison on 7^th March, 2009.  The Consul General urged the D.G. of Police if he could assist in this matter to ensure that the three Malaysian could travel back to Malaysia without any hassle.  The Meeting was fruitful and lasted for one hour.
