February 6th, 2024: The South Asian Education Conclave was organised by the Department of School Education, Govt. of Tamil Nadu. This conclave was held on the 6th of February 2024 at the Main Auditorium, Anna Centenary Library (ACL) Hall, Kotturpuram, Chennai.
The event was inaugurated with a welcoming address by Mr. Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi,Honourable Minister of School Education, Tamil Nadu.
In this regard, as part of the programe, the Consul General of Malaysia, Mr. K. Saravana Kumar delivered a special address in the conclave, followed by a video conference presentation by Mr. Raja Fariz Raja Eyuddin, Regional Manager, Education Malaysia Global Services (EMGS), about the higher education opportunities available in Malaysia.They also had interaction with the students and answered their questions. About 1300 participants, including the target group of conclave government school students, government school headmasters, teachers and officials, took part in the event.
