TS Seeks Help For Industrial Parks

Telangana wants to partner with Malaysia for setting up industrial parks and in education, innovation, food processing and services sectors.
Industries and IT Minister K.T. Rama Rao conveyed this to Malaysian Minister for International Trade and Industry Mustapa Mohamed here on Wednesday while also highlighting the benefits of investing in the State.
Giving details of the new industrial policy and its emphasis on self-certification and accountability, as well as the incentives offered for new projects, to the visiting minister and the high-level delegation accompanying him, Mr. Rao said that Telangana was the most preferred destination for investment.
The State had set aside 2.5 lakh acres for new industrial units.
Textiles and infrastructure sectors offered plenty of opportunities to invest in the State.Besides being a leader in IT, Life Sciences and aerospace sectors, Telangana was home to facilities of Amazon, Google, Microsoft and Novartis, an official release on the meeting said.
Describing Hyderabad as one of the most liveable cities, Mr. Mohamed assured that his government would work closely with Telangana Government on T-Hub to create opportunities for youth.
