H.E. Dato’ Hidayat Abdul Hamid, High Commissioner of Malaysia to India took part in the 5th Bengal Global Business Summit, held in Kolkata, West Bengal on 6 – 8 February 2019. The Summit was inaugurated by the Chief Minister of West Bengal, Mamata Banerjee. The event saw participation from giant Indian industry players, like the Reliance Group, Adani Group and Mittal group.
During the event, H.E. High Commissioner took part in the Diplomat’s Roundtable discussion, and shared the investment opportunities available in Malaysia, as well as the possible areas of cooperation between Malaysia and the state of West Bengal.
