Malaysia participated as a Partner Country in the Bengal Global Business Summit 2025, held from 5 - 6 February 2025, in Kolkata, West Bengal.
The Malaysian delegation, led by H.E. Dato' Muzafar Shah Mustafa, High Commissioner of Malaysia to the Republic of India, comprised of representatives from the Economic Affairs, Trade, Investment, and Tourism offices in New Delhi, Mumbai, and Chennai, along with Indian Oil Petronas Ltd.
During the summit, the delegation showcased trade, investment, and tourism opportunities between Malaysia and West Bengal, fostering potential avenues for economic collaboration.
Malaysia also set up an exhibition booth, where representatives from the Malaysian Investment Development Authority (MIDA) and the Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE) engaged with businesses interested in expanding into Malaysia, addressing queries and facilitating networking opportunities.
