The Director General of the Royal Malaysian Customs, YBhg. Dato’ Sri Subromaniam Tholasy undertook a Working Visit to New Delhi to attend the 5th Customs Enforcement Conference on 4 & 5 December 2018. The conference, which was organized by the Indian Directorate of Revenue Intelligence, saw participations from 21 Asia Pacific countries.
The Director General also took the opportunity to make a Courtesy Call on Mr. Ajay Bushan Pandey, the new Revenue Secretary, Ministry of Finance India (KSP equivalent). Both leaders discussed possible avenues of cooperation in curbing smuggling activities.
