High Commissioner of Malaysia to India, HE Dato’ Hidayat Abdul Hamid undertook a visit to Jaipur, Rajasthan on 10 November 2017 to participate in the 3rd Annual Healthcare Summit Rajasthan. HC was accompanied by First Secretary (Economic) as well as First Secretary (Political).
HE High Commissioner was invited as one of the key speaker to offer an international perspective on the healthcare sector in India. In his talk, the High Commissioner highlighted the warm bilateral relations that is shared between Malaysia and India. Both countries has developed a solid foundation for cooperation in various sectors, including healthcare. The presence of IHH Healthcare, which operates eight Gleneagles Global hospitals in India was one of the major Malaysian investments in the healthcare sector.
