1Malaysia World Endurance Ride, Sunday, 15 Sept. 2013

A group of five high-powered bikers from Malaysia who are trotting the globe stopped over Tehran over the weekend.  Their mission is to spread the message of peace and moderation from Malaysia to the world.  The bikers had thus far travelled through Laos, Thailand, China, Central Asian countries and Iran and covering a distance more than 20,000 km.  In Iran, despite some technical faults with their support vehicles, the bikers had a smooth journey and described the local folks as hospitable.  They were treated to a sumptuous nasi lemak breakfast at the Embassy and Malaysian delicacies for dinner by Amb. Sadik at his official residence.
