Malaysia took its turn to host the ASEAN Ladies Circle (ALC) coffee morning recently. The event which was held at the official residence of the Ambassador of Malaysia was well attended by the ASEAN Family in Tehran including the spouses of the HoMs and HBs of the ASEAN missions. Puan Jakkiah Sadik invited Dr. Ar Fania as special guest to talk about ‘Marriage and Divorce in Iran’. In her brief welcoming remark, Puan Jakkiah announced Malaysia’s readiness to host the ASEAN Food and Handicraft Bazaar which is scheduled for Saturday, 21 April 2012. The theme chosen for the Bazaar is ‘Eat and Shop for Charity’. The talk was followed with great enthusiasm by those present who were later served with Malaysian cuisine at luncheon.
