On Wednesday, 13 November 2025, His Excellency Khairi Omar, the Ambassador of Malaysia to Iran, received a courtesy call from representatives of the Iranian Sepak Takraw Association. The meeting served as a crucial platform to deliberate and exchange views on efforts to expand the reach and promote Sepak Takraw across various segments of the Iranian society.
To this end, both sides expressed interest in strengthening cooperation and mutual understanding. This includes exploring potential areas of collaboration including organising competitions in Iran as well as establishing a solid foundation for meaningful future engagements.
