Ambassador Sadik paid a courtesy call on Dr. Alireza Zakar Esfahani, the Governor-General of Isfahan recently. They discussed ways to strengthen economic and cultural ties between Malaysia and Isfahan. Ambassador Sadik also met with Dr. Habibullah Tahvilpour the Deputy Mayor of Isfahan. They explored possible areas of cooperation between Kuala Lumpur and Isfahan including tourism and cultural exchanges. Kuala Lumpur and Isfahan has sister-city status since 1993.
