The Embassy organized its family day outing at a private campsite – Matin Abad located in the desert about three hours bus drive from Tehran city. The event was participated by both the HBSs and LRSs together with their family members. The two-day outing was filled with several fun activities including the thrilled of a desert expedition on camel ride as well as a visit to an ostrich farm. A barbeque session was held in the evening. Amb. Sadik gave a spirit boosting talk on the essence of espirit d’corps. and the local customs and tradition. On the return journey the group stopped over a rose flower farm and witnessed firsthand the extraction and distillation process of the rose flower concentrates for the perfume industries.
