The Iftar cum National Day celebration was hosted by H.E. Mr. Mohamad Sadik Kethergany, Ambassador of Malaysia to the Islamic Republic of Iran on Wednesday, 1 September 2010. About 14 Malaysian attended in the small but meaningful gathering.
The reception was started with Iftar, followed by the Maghrib prayer. After the prayer, there was dinner with food prepared by the PERWAKILAN. After dinner, H.E. Ambassador delivered his remarks to the Malaysian community on a few subjects such as the theme of the 53rd National Day: “1 Malaysia Transforming the Nation”, country’s image, and the forming of Malaysian Association Tehran (MAT). H.E. Ambassador also touched about Contingency Plan in the event of an emergency situation arises.
