Ambassadors from the OIC member countries gathered at the official Residence of the Malaysian Ambassador to Iran for Iftar on 13 August 2012. HBSs from the embassy were also present. The programme began with breaking of fast with Kurma, mini-murtabak and pecado snack. This was later followed by solat maghrib. The guests were later treated to sumptuous Nasi beriani, chicken kurma, meat kebab, pekedil, dhal, parata and mix salad. Amb. Sadik Gany in his brief welcoming remarks expressed hope that the Ramadan spirit would strengthen further resolve among Muslim Ummah to unite as brothers in Islam.
