Amb. Mohd. Sadik Gany paid a courtesy call on Vice President H.E. Mr. Ali Saeidlou on 28 April 2012. During the cordial meeting they discussed wide ranging issues that pertain to bilateral relations between both countries as well as on regional issues. Both Amb. Sadik and VP Saeidlou agreed more that could be done to reinvigorate the existing economic and trade relations to its true potential including on halal, agricultural and pharmaceutical products. They both concurred on the importance of regular exchange of visits and greater interactions among the business community to establish networking and increase familiarity on trade rules and regulations in both countries. VP Saeidlou also updated Amb. Sadik on Iran’s preparations for the 16th NAM Summit which Tehran will host on 26 – 31 August 2012.
