The Embassy of Malaysia and PERWAKILAN Amman jointly took part in the Annual Diplomatic Bazaar which was held under the patronage of HRH Princess Basma bint Talal on 10 October 2009.
Among the goods sold by Malaysian stalls were Malaysian Batik and handicraft. Malaysian food sold i.e. satay, bihun goreng, popiah, and not forgetting the infamous teh tarik, also received excellent feedback. Malaysian team also sent its kompang team to welcome HRH Princess Basma to the Malaysian stall.
The Annual Diplomatic Bazaar, the proceeds of which go to support Mabarrat Um Al Hussein, marked its 46th year, showcasing crafts and cuisines of 63 nations. The event represents the global community in Jordan, with missions representing diverse cultural, geographic and religious backgrounds united under one cause.
